The Korean historical drama Missing Crown Prince series finale aired last night to the highest-ever ratings for the show.

Nielsen Korea shows Missing Crown Prince, Episode 20 grabbing 5.05 percent of the audience share nationwide.

That is a big increase from Episode 19‘s 4.24 percent, and a huge increase from the K-drama’s first episode’s 1.45 percent.

The drama also grabbed a record rating in Seoul for Missing Crown Prince, Episode 20 earning 4.83 percent of the viewership.

Congratulations to the entire cast and crew!

Final international ratings for Missing Crown Prince

After Missing Crown Prince, Episode 20 aired, the international ratings are still around the same they have been at for most of its 20-episode run.

Over on My Drama List (MDL), the historical drama is now rated a quite low 7.9 out of 10. but that kind of rating is pretty common from K-drama viewers that use the site. (ie: never watch or choose not to watch a K-drama based on ratings on MDL).

The Korean drama fares much better on Viki, where it has been streaming for the last 10 weeks, with almost 2,400 viewers giving it an average rating of 9.3 out of 10.

The Korean drama stars the superb cast of Suho, Hong Ye Ji, Myung Se Bin, Kim Joo Hun, and Kim Min Kyu.

It aired every Saturday and Sunday on MBN from April 13th, to June 16th, 2024.

And, yes, while I admit Missing Crown Prince has script issues, as historical romance dramas go, I will tell you it is still a decent watch.
