Moonlit Reunion reservations hit 5 million as C-drama premieres tomorrow – new poster of Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei drops
As the 38-episode wuxia fantasy Moonlit Reunion gets ready to premiere on Tencent and WeTV tomorrow, Tencent’s Weibo account has announced the Chinese drama has already earned 5 million reservations.
Considering this, along with YOUKU’s Destiny Brings the Demon and iQIYI’s A Forbidden Marriage are all historical romance dramas’ that are dropping this week on each platform, and are slated to be (hopefully) big hits by each platform, that Moonlit Reunion has 5 million reservations so far is excellent news indeed.
Of course, the two leads — Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei — and their huge fan clubs, probably has some thing to do with that.
Moonlit Reunion‘s 5 million reservations are also superb news, as the Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei-led drama had reached 3.5 million reservations just a few days ago
That means, in just a handful of days, the Chinese supernatural fantasy drama has added 1.5 million more pre-orders than previously recorded, and catapulted to the top of Tencent’s reservation chart.
The news of the Chinese drama passing the 5 million milestone arrived this morning along with a new poster of the two main leads, and the message:
