Mushoku Tensei 2, Cour 2 creditless OP/ED animations are sweet recaps of Rudy’s life so far

With a massive number of creditless opening and ending animation sequences being released this week, don’t miss the ones for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, Season 2, Cour 2, which were released by TOHO Animation earlier this week.

If you aren’t watching the anime’s latest cour yet, those Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, Season 2, Cour 2 creditless opening and ending animation sequences show exactly what you might expect.

And give you hints about the latest season’s second cour.

Mushoku Tensei, Season2, Cour 2 creditless opening and ending animations

The Mushoku Tensei creditless opening animation starts off with a quick recap of the anime right from its first season, then quickly moves on to events and characters from the latest cour.

It has a more upbeat, high-energy feel than the ending animation.

The animation also includes a snippet of the Cour 2 opening theme song — the pop rock track On the Frontline‘ by Hitorie.

The more mellow Season 2, Cour 2 ending animation — mellow in both theme song and animation — shows a stylized and peaceful look at Rudy’s life, right from when he was reincarnated as a baby through to his present day life with Sylphy.

It has the more romantic ending theme song — Mamoritai Mono‘ by Yuiko Ohara— playing over it.

Both theme songs, by the way, have now officially been released.

You can listen to them in full on the Spotify player below, where you can also watch both the Mushoku Tensei, S2, Cour 2 opening and ending animations.

Season 2, Cour 2 of Mushoku Tensei premiered on April 8th, and is streaming on Crunchyroll with two episodes out so far.

And, like everything that has come before it, the writing, the voice acting, the character building, the plot, the soundtrack — all of it contributes to one of the best isekai anime of recent years.

Still.

The smash-hit Mushoku Tensei anime series, of course, is based on the light novel series by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka.

If you’d like Rudy’s story in even more detail, you can grab that entire 26 volume series now via Seven Seas Entertainment.
