EEKKKK!!! The first four episodes were SO good!!! It feels like it’s a combination of a webtoon high-school love story and a spicy CEO romance. The comedy, awkward moments, and aesthetic feel like “True Beauty,” but it’s got more adult chemistry and less high school scenes.
The demanding chaebol boss terrorizing his sexy assistant trope is DEFINITELY present, but the clichés aren’t overplayed. The combination is fantastic.
said one viewer, while another commented:
A 10! We have a winner here. This is a delightful romantic comedy. Mun Ka Young and Choi Hyun Wook are knocking their roles out of the park.
I already enjoyed Choi Hyun Wook’s work in Sparkling Watermelon, and was excited to watch him again. He has an awesome ability to bring a naturalness to his roles, be it comedic, tragic, or serious. His drunken scene was amazing. He has such boyish charm and is a delight.
Yep, international viewers love My Dearest Nemesis, and their ratings and comments continue to prove that.
My Dearest Nemesis stars Moon Ga Young, Choi Hyun Wook, Im Se Mi, and Kwak Si Yang.
The Korean drama’s next episode hits later on tonight on both tvN in South Korea, and on Viki. Watch it, it’s hilarious, and really really fun!
