My Perfect Stranger, Episode 9 continues to hold onto its audience

The Korean murder mystery drama My Perfect Stranger, Episode 9 ratings came out earlier today, and they show the drama is holding steady with its viewership as it began the second half of its run.

According to those numbers via Nielsen Korea, My Perfect Stranger, Episode 9 earned 4.6 percent of the nationwide audience in Korea, which is down a tiny .1 percent from its previous episode.

In Seoul, the episode garnered 4.7 percent of the audience share in its time slot, which was down .3 percent from its previous episode.

An episode that earned My Perfect Stranger its largest audience yet.

Both drops in each region are also such a small drop in audience share, they are currently insignificant.

What do international audiences have to say about My Perfect Stranger, Episode 9?

International viewers of My Perfect Stranger still seem to be loving the drama, with the My Drama List ratings currently at 8.4 out of 10 after My Perfect Stranger, Episode 9 aired.

People commenting on My Drama List are happy with the direction the drama is turning, and are lauding the superb performances of lead actors Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo.

Just about the only criticism of the K-drama viewers have is that the turbulent political times in 1980s South Korea are, obviously, well-known to Korean audiences but not so much to western viewers.

In other words, a little more explanation of the political background of the times would have gone a long way towards increasing viewers’ enjoyment even more.
