New The Fiery Priest 2 posters have 3 leads proving they can kick your ass

With the long-awaited K-drama The Fiery Priest 2 due to premiere in less than a month, more and more promo pieces are being released by the production company, including three new The Fiery Priest 2 posters featuring its cool trio of main leads out today.

Less than a week after the last poster came out, the three latest posters feature stars Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun looking just about as crazy as you might expect.

Especially Kim Sung Kyun, as Kim Nam Gil and Honey Lee just look quietly confident they will have absolutely no problem beating your ass.

The first poster has fiery priest himself Kim Hae Il holding his “weapon”, a rosary, and showing major martial art kicks are simple parts of his fighting repertoire.

The caption on Kim Nam Gil’s poster says “The demons need to know that God exists“.

Meanwhile, Honey Lee is dressed in a pantsuit, looking down on anyone she believes is scum, and about to unsheathe her sword, while looking quite gleeful about it.

Her tagline comments “I’ll take away your soul“.

Finally, the crazy looking Kim Sung Kyun’s poster shows the detective appearing as though he is about to slap his adversary silly, with the tagline “Wherever I protect, I will do so with my heart“.

All three posters have the main leads posing against a backdrop comprising fingerprints.

The Fiery Priest 2 is scheduled to premiere on SBS in South Korea on November 8th in the same time slot as the currently ongoing hit drama The Judge From Hell.

I have a feeling, though, with the huge popularity of the first season of The Fiery Priest 2, which is the #17th most popular Korean drama of all-time per number of viewers (well, since 2018 when data began being collected) having been watched by more than 4.3 million people, it will likely be an even bigger hit.

In the new season, fiery Catholic priest Kim Hae Il, prosecutor Park Kyung Sun (Honey Lee) and detective Gu Dae Young (Kim Sung Kyun) travel to Busan in pursuit of a drug trafficking gang.

Look for it on SBS on November 8th if you’re in Korea, and on Disney+ and Hulu if you’re not.

Meanwhile, if you haven’t yet watched the first season, which would be a smart decision if you want to get the most out of Season 2, you can do that now at KOCOWA.
