New Wind Breaker key visual has all 6 delinquents looking cool while still up for a fight

A new Wind Breaker key visual has just been released on the official X account (see below) that shows all six of the main delinquents that are the focus of the upcoming anime.

All six — from protagonist Haruka Sakura (front left), to (from top left to bottom right) Toma Hiragi, Hajime Umemiya, Akihiko Nirei, Kyotarou Sugishita, and Hayato Suo — look cooler than cool.

And, of course, up for any fight.

That coolness continues in the new Wind Breaker teaser trailer that was released with the visual as the six delinquents, who were introduced earlier in the week in their own promotional videos, re-introduce themselves.

Along with the new Wind Breaker key visual and teaser trailer, we also got a premiere date — some time in April, 2024.

What is the Wind Breaker anime about?

Wind Breaker is based on the popular manga series by Satorou Nii.

It follows protagonist Haruka Sakura, a first-year student at Furin High School who, becomes involved with the gangs of delinquents who attend the high school and who work together to make sure nothing bad happens to their town.

Sakura, on the other hand, isn’t interested in  joining any gangs, he just wants to fight his way to the top and become the strongest of the strong.

Hence the tag on the new Wind Breaker key visual — “I am the peak”.

The Wind Breaker manga series is being published in English by Kodansha, with 12 volumes currently out.

CloverWorks is in charge of anime production for the upcoming anime.

Check out the new Wind Breaker teaser trailer below to see just how cool this looks — love that art style too.

Meanwhile, we will keep you posted as soon as more information about this incredibly fun looking school-themed anime, its director and staff is announced.
