An excellent feat, considering the Jung Kyung Ho-led drama airs directly opposite tvN’s Our Unwritten Seoul, which also grabbed its highest ever rating last night.

According to the data via Nielsen Korea, Oh My Ghost Clients, Episode 6 earned 4.6 percent of the nationwide audience share, which is a big increase from its audience share of just 2.8 percent last Saturday.

In Seoul, the Korean drama also performed well, garnering 4.5 percent of the viewership in that region — and markedly up from the 3.2 percent it earned last week on the same night.

The K-drama’s solid ratings aren’t too surprisingly really as it’s well-written and acted, and has a stellar cast of guest stars that include Moon So Ri, Jin Seon Kyu, Kim Dae Myung, Park Won Sang, and Jo Eun Ji.

It also looks at the serious theme of labor issues (which are still a big problem in South Korea), but with a light-hearted attitude. Thus, bringing light to the issues, but not in a heavy-handed, boring way.

There are four episodes of Oh My Ghost Clients left to air, with Episode 7 airing next Friday, June 10th.

The K-drama streams in a limited number of regions on Viki, and in North America via Amazon Prime Video.
