Our Unwritten Seoul EP 9 earns BEST Saturday ratings as viewers still RAVE about the writing and acting

The tvN drama Our Unwritten Seoul, Episode 9 earned its best Saturday ratings ever last night, with a substantial jump in its audience share versus last week.

According to the latest data via Nielsen Korea, Our Unwritten Seoul, Episode 9 earned 7.10 percent of the Saturday night nationwide audience — a nice increase from last Saturday’s previous high of 6.45 percent of the viewership.

Its Seoul audience also nicely increased, with a more than one percent jump from last Saturday’s 6.73 percent to last night’s 7.80 percent.

Cool, right?

The Park Bo Young, Park Jin Young, and Ryu Kyung Soo-led drama also continues to do extremely well with the key demographic of  20–49 year olds, ranking at #1 in its time slot yet again.

International ratings of Our Unwritten Seoul remain very high

The Korean coming-of-age drama continues to perform well with international viewers using My Drama List (MDL), who have been awarding the series an extremely high (for them) 8.7 out of 10 since the drama premiered on May 24th.

A rating that shows no sign of dropping either.

Such a beautiful amazing drama, it is doing everything right! The director and writer has a really good sense to package it all for us viewers, and of course we have to thank the amazing actors for bringing this story to life. The feels are real in this one.

If you are hesitating to watch it, don’t, it is a must watch. I can see it being one of the best dramas of 2025!

It’s a weird place to be for me; to feel so personally challenged by a drama! I have so much respect for the writer in creating a character like Mi-Rae, and allowing me to confront my own judgements and lack of empathy for people in these situations.

And the story arc and character development, make the end of ep 9 so much more satisfying. So worth the view!

The next episode of Our Unwritten Seoul drops tonight, with the drama then heading into its final weekend next week.
