The crime drama Parole Examiner Lee, Episode 5 aired on tvN to solid ratings yet again on Monday night, and to #1 in its time slot.
The nationwide rating was 5.10 percent on Monday night versus its previous episode’s audience share of 6.25 percent, which incidentally was its highest rating yet.
Meanwhile in Seoul, Parole Examiner Lee, Episode 5 grabbed 4.72 percent of that region’s viewership, compared to Episode 4’s 5.89 percent.
Both ratings are in the same ball park (between 4.60 percent and 5.30 percent) they have been in since the drama premiered, proving the latest Go Soo-led series earned a substantial audience from its first episode and that audience has proved to be loyal.
International viewers still rating Parole Examiner Lee high
Korean drama fans viewing the thriller are also still rating Parole Examiner Lee very positively on Viki, where it is currently streaming.
That rating is still an exceptionally high 9.4 out of 10, with comments about the series also supporting that rating.
Those comments range from:
It’s only been 5 episodes but so far, I think it’s a wonderful drama. Very interesting. Superb acting by an excellent cast of actors, and a well-written drama that is fast-moving and fun. Enjoying it thoroughly!
Dark humor Go Soo (who plays main role Lee) is very good, one of the best actors.

Great plot and top actors in Korea!!! I love this show. Love GO SOO!
Yep, Go Soo is getting much of the praise (and it’s well-deserved), although co-stars Kwon Yu Ri, Baek Ji Won, and Lee Hak Joo also deserve accolades.
The next episode of Parole Examiner Lee will air later on tonight and, as its Tuesday evening ratings have been the K-drama’s highest so far, it is likely we will see an increase in these already excellent ratings tonight.
