Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time monster girls are adorable in new key visual

New Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time key visual

The anime series Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time got a new key visual today. A visual that shows off some of the adorable monster girls we can expect to be pursuing warrior Peter Grill once the upcoming new anime starts to air in July (adorably naughty, more than likely!)

The anime is based on Daisuke Hiyama’s Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time (Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan) fantasy manga series, which was launched in 2017 in Futabasha’s Manga Action.

Seven Seas Entertainment announced late last year that they had licensed the manga series for publication in the west. The first volume of that series will be releasing on June 16th.

As for the anime, it also got some new character designs today, along with the announcement of some of the cast members.

These voice actors include Hiro Shimono who will play the lead character Peter Grill, Yui Ninomiya as Luvelia Sanctos, Ayana Taketatsu as Mimi Alpacas, Hibiku Yamamura as Lisa Alpacas, Sayaka Senbongi as Piglette Pancetta and Akari Uehara who will play Vegan Eldriel.

The story of Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time goes something like this:

Upon winning a fighting tournament and being crowned the world’s strongest warrior, Peter Grill discovers a downside to his newfound fame. Women of all species, from ogres to elves, are scrambling over each other for his seed to ensure they have the strongest babies possible. Poor Peter just wants to settle down with his lovey dovey fiancée, but he’ll have to outmatch, outwit, and outrun a harem of very determined monster girls to do so!

The anime series will be animated by Wolfsbane and will begin airing in Japan on Tokyo MX in July. We in North America will likely get it around the same time.
