She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman intros 2nd collab visual with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman collab visual with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is adorable

The anime She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman is set to premiere in January.

With that in mind, the series has teamed up with fellow isekai anime and massive hit That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime for promotion, with a second collaborative visual between the two shows being released this week.

The latest She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman visual features protagonist Mira (formerly male video game player Sakimori Kagami) and everyone’s most-loved slime Rimuru (formerly corporate worker Satoru Mikami ), the lead character of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.

The pair are standing on a grassy headland, looking out over a sparkling blue ocean as crystal islands and birds float above them in this utterly adorable new visual.

While Mira is her wonderfully pretty now-female self, Rimuru appears as his lovely human incarnation, while his cute slime form perches on his head.

2nd She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime collab visual

The She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime collaboration visual follows on from a previous collab visual featuring the pair in their light novel forms.

She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman staff and cast details

The upcoming iseakai anime She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman is based on the light novel series by Hirotsugu Ryusen.

The series is directed by Keitaro Motonaga (Date a Live), with series composition by Takamitsu Kouno (Absolute Duo), and character design by Kumi Horii (Ah My Buddha).

The show stars Nichika Omori (Yurine in Dropkick on My Devil!) as Mira.

She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wiseman premieres on Funimation on January 11th, with the streaming service doing their usual stellar job of not releasing an English-subbed trailer yet. (Update: There is finally an English subbed trailer you can watch below)

Funimation describes the anime series this way:

Kagami Sakimori plays as the great mage Danblf in his favorite MMO. He falls asleep after a night of testing new character appearances, but instead of waking up to a suspended game, he’s inside of Arch Earth Online—as a girl!

Now named Mira, he must convince the game’s people that Mira is a pupil of Danblf, who vanished without a trace 30 years ago…and figure out how he got here.

Meanwhile, Slime is getting a full-length movie due to premiere in Fall, 2022. Yay!
