Shin’s Project Ep 2 has SUBSTANTIAL ratings rise – international viewers raving about it
If you thought the first episode of Shin’s Project had performed well in the ratings, it appears Shin’s Project, Episode 2 attracted even more viewers last night as its ratings saw a substantial rise versus those of its first episode.
Data via Nielsen Korea shows Shin’s Project, Episode 2 earned 7.4 percent of the nationwide rating last night versus the 5.92 percent it garnered on Monday night.
The Korean drama experienced a similar ratings rise from viewers in Seoul where it garnered 7.78 percent compared to the 6.45 percent it grabbed for its first episode.
Considering many K-dramas that see a substantial ratings increase for their second episode go on to see mounting audience shares for future episodes, this then bodes very well for Shin’s Project. In both regions.
International ratings for Shin’s Project after Episode 2
The Korean drama is currently being rated an 8.0 out of 10 by the users of My Drama List (MDL).
Considering just about every drama is downrated by trolls on the website when it first begins, chances are the actual rating for Shin’s Project on MDL is quite a bit higher than that.
Especially as the comments on the drama’s listing on MDL are massively positive, ranging from:
After looking around, this drama imo is the best one out there right now, the plot, acting, filming, is just top notch, and the deepest content in many ways, perhaps only A Hundred Memories can compare artistically.
Both are masterpieces in their own right.
to another one commenting on the dearth of decent quality K-dramas this year:
I’ve been dropping most k-dramas lately, but this one’s definitely a keeper. A meaningful drama, great acting, good vibes.
Meanwhile, the rating on IMDB is a decent 8.1 out of 10, but just from 9 viewers so far.
Yep, this one looks like it could just be one of the big hits of 2025, doesn’t it?
Shin’s Project stars Han Suk Kyu, Bae Hyun Sung, and Lee Re.
The Korean drama’s next episode premieres on September 22nd.
