Strong Girl Nam Soon appeared on the Netflix chart the week it premiered
The popular ongoing Korean drama Strong Girl Nam Soon has now been on the Netflix Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Show chart for seven weeks.
It debuted on the chart the week the K-drama premiered on Netflix, and has not dropped off it since.
The comedy drama’s seventh week was the period from November 13th to the 19th, with it ranking either #3 or #4 on the list for much of it.
In the latest data, Strong Girl Nam Soon is still in 7th place on the chart, just as the K-drama was for the previous period.
According to the latest numbers via Netflix’s Tudum website, Strong Girl Nam Soon earned more than 1.6 million views just last week alone, for a current total of more than 23.7 million hours viewed.
The comedy crime drama was in the Top 10 on Netflix in 24 countries, including Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Ecuador, Honduras, Indonesia and Singapore, as well as in its home country of South Korea.
Strong Girl Nam Soon is also on the Netflix Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Show chart alongside other Korean dramas Daily Dose of Sunshine (2nd week on the chart), and Castaway Diva, which is on its third week on the chart.
Strong Girl Nam Soon still killing it on JTBC
The Korean drama is also performing well on JTBC in South Korea, where it airs every Saturday and Sunday evening.
So much so, its last episode earned a very strong 8.98 percent rating nationwide, and an even higher 9.55 percent with viewers in Seoul.
The final two episodes of Strong Girl Nam Soon, which stars Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seong Wu, and Byeon Woo Seok, will air on JTBC next weekend, with Netflix streaming them for international viewers.
