With only one episode of the JTBC drama The Tale of Lady Ok airing this weekend due to the ongoing political situation in South Korea, that certainly did not damage the K-drama’s chances of grabbing high ratings.

In fact, The Tale of Lady Ok, Episode 3 aired last night to its highest ratings yet — both from the nationwide audience and from viewers in Seoul.

According to the new data via Nielsen Korea, The Tale of Lady Ok, Episode 3 earned 7.78 percent of the nationwide audience on Sunday, which is a nice increase from Episode 2’s rating of 6.81 percent.

In Seoul, the Korean historical romance drama performed even better, earning 8.08 percent of the audience — and a solid increase from the 7.19 percent it earned last Sunday.

Excellent ratings the cast, crew and director must be very thankful for as, every time an episode in a drama is postponed for whatever reason, the show does have a chance of seeing falling ratings with subsequent episodes because of it.

In this case, thankfully, the opposite occurred.

The Tale of Lady Ok stars Lim Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo, Yeonwoo and Kim Jae Won, and is usually scheduled to air on Saturday and Sunday evenings at 22:30 (KST) on JTBC.

The Korean drama’s next episode will air on Saturday, December 14th.

You can watch all three episodes of the K-drama currently released now via KOCOWA.
