Tiger Crane EP 15 clip features superb animation as U Li Dan annihilates Zhao Xintong

An extremely good example of the superb animation in the ongoing donghua (Chinese anime) Tiger Crane is the new 2-minute-46-second clip from Tiger Crane, Episode 15 and the fight between demon master U Li Dan (who is an absolute a**hole, by the way), and main girl Zhao Xintong.

The sheer speed of his attacks, the way he avoids those of Zhao Xintong without hardly moving a muscle, and then how he calmly decides he will just kill her and anyone else who gets in his way is stunning to watch.

Of course, because the Tiger Crane, Episode 15 clip is on YouTube, which often downgrades its supposed 1080p and serves videos of much lower quality instead, the quality of the clip isn’t great.

Head over to Bilibili’s official platform, however, and if you have a VIP subscription, you can watch Episode 15 now in true 1080p (HD).

Otherwise, the episode is now available on Bilibili’s Chinese Donghua Animation YouTube channel for its VIP members, while it will show up on the same channel for non-subscribers on January 13th at 6am.

Meanwhile, as 3D-animated Chinese anime goes, Tiger Crane is one series I can definitely recommend.

It features a rich, nicely constructed and highly-detailed world, interesting, quirky and unique characters, a beautiful art style, the aforementioned superb animation and, unlike a fair number of 3D animated donghua, has a plot that is well-written and actually makes sense.

It’s pretty funny in parts as well.
