Tiger Crane, Ep 16 clip – Xiaoxuan kills Huzi to retrieve the red pearl

If you haven’t watched Tiger Crane, Episode 16 yet, you are in for a treat as a newly-released clip from the Chinese animated series shows.

That episode, which is probably its most disturbing one yet, features Qi Xiaoxuan and Huzi attempting to stop two of the more senior members of Xiaoxuan’s sect (the Imperial Demon Exorcists) from murdering everyone they care about.

Tiger Crane, Episode 16 shows the real evil of the Imperial Demon Exorcists

Of course, while members of the Imperial Demon Exorcists think of themselves as “the good guys”, as per usual, it turns out they seem to be anything but.

So much so, after Xiaoxuan stops U Li Can from murdering more people by attacking him so badly he is knocked unconscious his senior, who Xiaoxuan calls “Sis”, then tells Huzi that Xiaoxuan has committed an unforgiveable sin by losing the red pearl to Huzi.

And because of that, he must be punished. Even if it means Xiaoxuan will lose his life.

The red pearl that, you will remember, is now in Huzi’s stomach.

She then tells Huzi, if he gives back the red pearl, it may lessen the charges against Xiaoxuan.

Unfortunately, if he does that, Huzi himself may not survive.

The events then disintegrate until Xiaoxuan feels like he has no choice but to retrieve the red pearl from Huzi’s stomach but, when he does just that, he kills Huzi in the process.

Or does he?

We will have to wait for the soon-to-release Episode 17 to find out.

(Come on, Xiaoxuan saved Huzi at the potential cost of his own life in Episode 10, so why would he kill him now, right?)

Tiger Crane details

The Tiger Crane donghua series (aka Hu He Yao Shi Lu) is animated by Chinese studio Motion Magic, and produced by Bilibili.

It premiered on October 5th on Bilibili’s streaming platform, and on their YouTube channel, and is currently scheduled to run for 24 episodes.

Interestingly too, Tiger Crane has turned out to be one of the standouts of the latest donghua scene.

That is due to it being well-written, with a fast–paced, action-packed plot you can actually understand, and with beautifully designed backgrounds and character models.

Episode 16 of Tiger Crane is currently streaming on Bilibili for its VIP subscribers, and is due to open up for everyone to watch later on today when Episode 17 releases.

Meanwhile, watch that depressing and quite disturbing Tiger Crane, Episode 16 clip below, as it appears Xiaoxuan’s morals may be so messed up, he would kill his friend just to satisfy his evil sect senior.
