Tiger Crane Ep 17 trailer has Huzi and Zhao Xintong fighting new enemies – nope, Huzi isn’t dead

As you may remember, while Chinese donghua Tiger Crane, Episode 16  ended with Xiaoxuan killing Huzi so he could retrieve the red pearl for his senior, with the release of the Tiger Crane, Episode 17 trailer, it appears Huzi may still be alive. (Told you so!).

That Tiger Crane, Episode 17 trailer has Huzi and Zhao Xintong, who was attacked herself by demon master U Li Dan in Episode 15, fighting new enemies.

This time, of the insect variety.

Meanwhile, Xiaoxuan is back with his senior, and appears to be cultivating like a madman in order to become stronger.

A cultivation that probably has more to do with saving his friends, including Huzi, than it does kowtowing to his sect, right?

Who animates the Tiger Crane donghua?

The ongoing action fantasy donghua Tiger Crane (aka Hu He Yao Shi Lu) is animated by Chinese studio Motion Magic, who is also known for animating the popular Boys’ Love series Thousand Autumns.

Bilibili produces the series, and also streams it on its own streaming service, as well as via YouTube.

The first episode of the planned 24 episode series premiered on October 5th, with Episode 16 coming out on the Bilibili Donghua YouTube channel earlier today for non-subscribers.

An episode from one of the, apparently, more popular donghua as, just eight hours since it was released, and it has already been watched more than 22,000 times on YouTube alone.

VIP subscribers to Bilibili’s YouTube channel can already watch Episode 17, which will be available for everyone else on January 27th.
