To Your Eternity Season 3 gets premiere date and new visual – both of which add to the mystery

To Your Eternity, Season 3 visual adds to the mystery

A new To Your Eternity, Season 3 visual has been released via the anime’s X account, along with an official premiere date.

Finally, I say to the latter information, as the third season of the hit supernatural adventure anime was announced over two years ago, but not much information has been released since.

It now appears, however, that To Your Eternity, Season 3 will premiere in October, 2025, and will broadcast on NHK in Japan.

Crunchyroll has also given fans a heads up that, like Seasons 1 and 2, Season 3 will be streaming on their site.

Along with that announcement, a new To Your Eternity, Season 3 visual is also quite mysterious, with the anime’s X account commenting:

Finally, the present world arc… Enjoy the teaser visual released announcing the dawn of a new era.

Who are the junior high school girl and the black-haired boy who are staring at Fushi?

And yes, you will see a high school girl giving Fushi the side-eye as she walks passed him in the middle of the city, as a small boy with black hair and a sad expression appears to be keeping up with him.

Mangaka Yoshitoki Ōima apologizes for delay

Meanwhile, in response to the time it took for Season 3 to get a premiere date, original manga author Yoshitoki Ōima (A Silent Voice) also posted on X apologizing for the delay.

To everyone who has been following the first and second seasons, I apologize for keeping you waiting.

As the original author, I have been involved in the present world arc from the closest position I have ever been to.

I think the whole series was made very carefully. Thank you to the director, staff, and cast. I’m looking forward to watching it air.

No worries as, if Season 3 turns out to be as superb as Seasons 1 and 2, all will soon be forgiven, right?

To Your Eternity, Season 3 details

Season 3 of the hit Brain’s Base/Studio Drive-animated series was first announced in March, 2023.

It is again based on the Yoshitoki Ōima manga series, which currently has 21 volumes out in English and Volume 22 out later this month via Kodansha USA.

Meanwhile, Volume 24 is due to release in Japan on April 16th. So, yes, there is still a lot of material left to cover.

The animated series’ first season was directed by Masahiko Murata, with Season 2 being helmed by Kiyoko Sayama. Animation studio Brain’s Base animated Season 1, and with Studio Drive taking over the project for Season 2.

Not many details have been released about the upcoming To Your Eternity, Season 3, however, including cast, staff or even studio as yet.

But, we do know it will cover the manga’s “This World” arc, with immortal hero Fushi in the modern day era. That, of course, is completely different from previous arcs, where the time period moved from ancient times to the Middle Ages.

As for the plot of To Your Eternity, its Japanese manga series describes it like this:

A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment.

But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well… To Your Eternity is a totally unique and moving manga about death, life, reincarnation, and the nature of love.

Keep checking back to Leo Sigh, as we will update you as soon as any more information about Season 3 is forthcoming.

Especially as, to say To Your Eternity is one of the most-anticipated anime series of 2025 would be an understatement.
