ENA Kdrama Dear Hyeri, Episode 5 aired in South Korea last night to its highest rating yet, with audiences in Seoul tuning in in even higher numbers than those nationwide.

That nationwide rating on Monday night was almost 1.0 percent higher than the Korean drama earned for its first episode on September 23rd with a 2.84 percent viewership versus a 2.02 percent for Episode 1.

Audiences in Seoul also gave Dear Hyeri, Episode 5 its highest rating yet with a 3.21 percent audience share on Monday night versus the Kdrama’s Episode 4 viewership of 2.85 percent.

Both ratings placed the ENA drama in first place in its time slot.

With seven more episodes of the Kdrama still to air, it’s nice then to see its ratings steadily increasing.

Dear Hyeri stars Shin Hye Sun, Lee Jin Wook, Kang Hoon, Jo Hye Joo, and Kang Sang Joon.

Its next episode will hit both ENA in South Korea and Viki internationally later on tonight.

On Viki, by the way, the Kdrama is currently earning a very high average rating of 9.3 out of 10 from more than 1,300 viewers with overwhelmingly positive ratings ranging from:

Only 2 episodes in, and I agree with other reviews that this is completely bingeable. If done poorly, it would be weird and uncomfortable in a bad way, but it’s so well done so far. The acting, the writing, the lighting, shots. Just wow. They are balancing story, humor, and humanity well – not making mocking at all. Very sensitive. Loving it and can’t wait for the next episodes.

This show is nothing short of amazing! I’ve just finished episode 4, and I’m already counting down the days until episode 5 drops. The show has me on an emotional rollercoaster, pulling at every one of my senses with each scene. The (FL), (ML), (SML) all have such rich and captivating backstories that I’m completely invested in each of their journeys. The way the characters are placed and developed is perfect. I’m intrigued, emotionally wrecked and can’t get enough.

Can’t say I am surprised, as the drama is superbly written and the main leads performances’ (especially Shin Hye Sun’s) are phenomenal in this.
