The Art of Negotiation easily doubles first episode’s viewership
The ongoing Korean drama The Art of Negotiation has just doubled the ratings of its first episode after airing Episode 4 last night.
According to Nielsen Korea, The Art of Negotiation, Episode 4 aired on Sunday night to a nationwide rating of 7.12 percent versus its Saturday night episode’s rating of 5.78 percent.
Sunday night’s rating was also over double the 3.30 percent the JTBC drama earned for Episode 1 earlier in the month.
In Seoul, viewers also tuned in in higher numbers, with The Art of Negotiation, Episode 4 earning 7.29 percent of the audience share in that region.
That is up from Episode 3’s 5.53 percent and, again, more than double the 3.58 percent the K-drama earned for its premiere on March 8th.
International viewers’ rating The Art of Negotiation
Korean drama fans outside South Korea also seem to be enjoying the latest JTBC offering, with The Art of Negotiation currently earning a high 8.7 out of 10 stars on IMDB.
The Korean business-themed suspense drama is also kicking ass on Viki, where it is streaming for its international subscribers.
On that platform, after Episode 4 aired, the K-drama is currently being rated an extremely high 9.6 out of 10 stars, with even viewers who generally do not like or understand business-themed dramas commenting they are loving this one.
And, of course, many are still ecstatic over Lee Je Hoon’s hair!
The Art of Negotiation‘s cast is headed up by the aforementioned Taxi Driver star Lee Je Hoon alongside Sung Dong Il, Jang Hyun Sung, Oh Man Seok, Ahn Hyun Ho, and Cha Kang Yoon.
The 12-episode K-drama is directed by Ahn Pan Seok (The Midnight Romance in Hagwon), and written by Lee Seung Young. It airs on JTBC every Saturday and Sunday evening through April 13th, 2025.
