Dead Account trailer makes anime look freaky – new visual drops, cast members announced
Upcoming supernatural action anime Dead Account has dropped its first trailer today, along with a high-energy key visual and more cast details.
The anime itself is not due to premiere until January, 2026.
And, while this one might initially seem sweet as live streamer Aoringo plays an online troll so he can make money to pay for his sick sister’s health care, watch the first Dead Account trailer (below), and you will quickly see it’s a lot more complicated (and freaky!) than that.

The just released Dead Account key visual will also show you things in this anime are much stranger than first appearances suggest.
Especially when the supernatural gets involved.
The Dead Account cast
New cast members have also been announced, almost all of whom are big hitters with extensive libraries of work, so that the full line-up (so far) looks like this:
- Nobuhiko Okamoto (Rin in Blue Exorcist) is voicing Soji Enishiro
- Kouki Uchiyama (Lancelot in The Seven Deadly Sins) as Kukuru Kasubata
- Fairouz Ai (Power in Chainsaw Man) plays Kiyomi Urusugawa
- Natsuki Hanae (Tanjirou in Demon Slayer) voices Renri Hasumi
- Machico (Nene in Colorful Stage!) is playing Hiyori Haishima
- Ryouta Suzuki (Touma in Wind Breaker) is Naruhiko Emoto
- Takuya Satou (Rou in Re:Monster) plays Yoimaru Azaki
The anime is being directed by Keiya Saito (Rokudo’s Bad Girls), with Mitsutaka Hirota (Edens Zero) in charge of series composition, and SynergySP (A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics) is animating.
As for its plot, which I hinted at above, it goes like this:
Bring on the fights. Destruction for the win.
Flaming internet streamer “Provoke-Ringo,” aka 15-year-old Sōri Enjō, makes a killing with outrage-baiting video stunts that push cruelty to the limit.
Though seen as the epitome of a troublemaker, Sōri is actually a sweet older brother who adores his little sister and custard pudding. His controversial videos are just a means to cover his sickly sister’s massive medical bills—even if the whole world hates him, her happiness is all that matters.
That is, until something terrible happens to his beloved sister —
