Listen to Fialta’s ‘High Above Chicago’ from BoJack Horseman, Season 6, Episode 3

San Luis Obispo-based indie pop band Fialta’s ‘High Above Chicago‘ was featured on the new season of the Netflix animated series BoJack Horseman this week — BoJack Horseman, Season 6, Episode 3.

The gorgeous track was played over the end credits.

Fialta’s ‘High Above Chicago‘ is from the band’s 2013 utterly uplifting album Summer Winter. A 12-track album that also features the equally lovely ‘Baby, I‘, ‘Photographs‘, ‘Drafty Rooms‘ and the title track ‘Summer Winter‘.

The band’s inclusion on BoJack Horseman is not the first time their music has appeared on a hit show either, as they have also done extraordinary well with songs licensed to TV shows like Parenthood, Awkward, A to Z, Degrassi, About a Boy and BoJack Horseman.

High Above Chicago‘ is particularly perfect to be featured on BoJack Horseman in particular, as it has that same feeling many of us feel about the show’s main character.

The idea that, even though BoJack can be a prime ass much of the time, at the end of the day you feel sorry for him.

High Above Chicago‘ with its captivating intro and Beth Clements touching vocals illustrate that melancholy feeling.
