With the release of its fourth episode last night, Korean drama A Virtuous Business saw a substantial rise in its ratings to a new personal record.

Like the previous evening, the JTBC K-drama was also the #1 show in its time slot.

Those ratings for A Virtuous Business, Episode 4 were 5.92 percent nationwide — up from Saturday night’s 4.63 percent viewership.

Seoul viewers also watched the K-drama in even higher numbers, earning it 6.49 percent of that region’s viewership compared to Saturday evening’s still strong 5.10 percent.

In fact, Sunday night was a great night for all three K-dramas airing on South Korean TV, as A Virtuous Business joined Iron Family (16.2 percent of the audience) and Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born (12.7 percent) in earning their highest audience shares yet.

Netflix viewers of A Virtuous Business need to step up

A Virtuous Business is also streaming on Netflix where, surprisingly, it is not yet getting the massive attention it deserves as it failed to make the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart last week (a big shock to me!).

It is, however, currently in the Top 10 in 8 countries on Netflix, with an average position of #5.

Come on, though, Netflix viewers.

You really should be watching this, as the plot is one of the more unique ones coming out of Korea right now, and the almost-all-female cast plus the fabulous Yeon Woo Jin are incredibly good.

A Virtuous Business, which is a Korean adaptation of the hit British TV series Brief Encounters, stars Kim So Yeon, the aforementioned man in the group Yeon Woo Jin, Kim Sung RyungKim Sun Young, and Lee Se Hee. (Isn’t it great to be getting another K-drama with a predominantly female cast?)

Episode 5 hits airwaves on October 26th. Don’t miss it.
