You have to admit, the long-ongoing weekend drama Beauty and Mr. Romantic has been extremely successful for KBS2.
The 50-episode Kdrama kicked off on March 23rd to a very strong 15.3 percent nationwide rating, which eventually ended up at over 20.0 percent (Episode 42).
Now, with just four episodes left to release, Beauty and Mr. Romantic, Episode 46 aired last night to the drama’s 2nd highest rating ever.
That rating was 19.8 percent nationwide, which is only slightly below the Kdrama’s all-time high viewership of 20.5 percent and proved, yet again, the popularity of the KBS2 drama certainly hasn’t waned.
Viewers in Seoul also tuned in in higher numbers than the Kdrama’s previous episode, as the show’s audience share jumped from 15.3 percent for Episode 45 to 18.7 percent for Episode 46.
From those audience numbers, it seems pretty obvious that, when Beauty and Mr. Romantic ends its run on September 22nd, it will likely go out on even higher ratings.
Beauty and Mr. Romantic stars Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo.
Its penultimate two episodes will air next weekend — September 14th and 15th — on KBS2 in South Korea.
Viki streams the weekend drama for its international subscribers.
