As the suspense grows with each new episode of the superb Korean crime drama Doubt, Episode 3 aired on MBC on Friday night to its highest rating yet.

Nielsen Korea is reporting Doubt, Episode 3 earned a nationwide audience share of 5.8 percent compared to its previous episode’s rating of 4.7 percent.

In Seoul, however, the Korean drama earned 5.1 percent of the audience share, which while a very solid rating, still fell short of its highest rating of 5.5 percent for Episode 1.

Doubt is also still airing directly opposite The Judge From Hell, one of the most popular dramas this season, otherwise its ratings would likely be much higher.

International audiences and Doubt

Korean drama fans watching Doubt overseas also seem to be intrigued with the show’s plot and its actors.

Comments on various platforms range from:

Episode 3 was really good. It kept building on the suspense the previous episodes had and it doesn’t get boring. The soundtrack is beautiful as well.

The cast is amazing. Every episode keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more and more. The plot is top tier too, and the acting is on the next level.

Viewers are especially stressing the talent of the actors in the main roles, with Viki subscribers also currently rating Doubt a high 9.2 out of 10.

The only complaints stem from what some viewers think is a “too slow pace”, while others stress that is part of what makes the K-drama so suspenseful.

The stellar Doubt cast, by the way, comprises Han Suk Kyu, Chae Won Bin, Han Ye Ri, and Oh Yeon Soo in the main roles, with Noh Jae Won, Yoon Gyung Ho, Lee Shin Ki, Lee Kyo Yeob, Na Do Yool, Yoo Ui Tae, Kim Jung Jin, Lee Yang Hee and Choi Yoo Hwa in supporting roles.

The next episode of Doubt airs tonight on MBC, with Viki and KOKOWA streaming it for their subscribers.
