The Korean historical horror series Gyeongseong Creature had its second part released on Netflix on January 5th.

Those last three episodes helped the Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee-led K-drama maintain the same #3 spot it has held on the Netflix Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart for a third week.

According to new data just released by Netflix via their Tudum website, Gyeongseong Creature was viewed 3.4 million times during the last week — January 1st to January 7th, 2024 — with 39.3 million hours watched during the same period.

The 10-episode Korean drama was also in the Top 10 in 22 countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Hong Kong, Japan and Nigeria.

Gyeongseong Creature was one of four Korean dramas in the Top 10 — alongside My Demon (#4), Welcome to Samdalri (#6) and True Beauty (#8).

The drama stars the excellent cast of Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, and Soo Hyun.

It ended its first season on a cliffhanger but Season 2, which has reportedly already been filmed, has already been confirmed by Netflix to be streaming some time in 2024.

(“Coming soon” was what they actually said!)
