Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! English dub cast includes Trisha Mellon, Kevin D. Thelwell, Morgan Lea

The ongoing rom-com Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! English dub cast was announced today, with the English dub of the anime premiering tomorrow — July 27th, 2024 — only two weeks after its original Japanese version premiered.

Dub fans will be thrilled.

The Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! English dub cast features several of the industry’s most well-known voice actors.

The full voice cast looks like this:

  • Nukumizu voiced by Kevin D. Thelwell (Naoya in Girlfriend, Girlfriend)
  • Anna voiced by Trisha Mellon (Leoleshea in Gods’ Games We Play)
  • Komari voiced by Morgan Lea (Falma in Parallel World Pharmacy)
  • Lemon voiced by Bev Mageto (Izuna in Dead Mount Death)
  • Sosuke voiced by Alejandro Saab (Kaiju No. 9 in Kaiju No. 8)
  • Amanatsu voiced by Corinne Sudberg (Amber in Ningen Fushin)
  • Ayano voiced by Conner Allison (Yuuta in Cherry Magic!)
  • Chihaya voiced by Meg McClain (Lloyd in I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince…)
  • Kaju voiced by Monica Flatley (Rouge in Metallic Rouge)
  • Karen voiced by Alexis Tipton (Felicia in Re:Monster)
  • Koto voiced by Madeleine Norton (Gremory in An Archdemon’s Dilemma)

Helena Walstrom (Ayaka) is the ADR Director, with Heather Walker adapting the anime.

The Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! anime series is based on the light novels written by Takibi Amamori and illustrated by Imigimuru.

Seven Seas Entertainment began publishing the novels in English with the digital version of Volume 1 out now, and the print edition due next month.

The anime is directed by Shoutarou Kitamura, with Masahiro Yokotani in charge of series composition, and Tetsuya Kawakami as character designer.

Studio A-1 Pictures (My New Boss is Goofy) in charge of anime production.

Self-proclaimed “background character” Kazuhiko Nukumizu accidentally witnesses Anna Yanami, a popular girl in his class, being rejected by her childhood friend.

He labels her a “losing heroine”, and soon finds himself getting involved with Anna and other similar girls.
