The An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride English dub cast has been announced, and it includes some of the anime voice acting industry’s most interesting voice actors.
Those English language voice actors are:
Kieran Flitton who plays protagonist Zagan – you’ll remember him as Kanata in last year’s MF Ghost
Abigail Blythe playing Nephy – she starred as Miguel in Metallic Rouge
Mark Allen Jr. is voicing Barbaros – he played Takuma in My Tiny Senpai
Bryan Massey plays Face Stealer – he was Tokuichi in Mars Red
Madeleine Norton is Gremory – she played the Elder Gorgon Sister in TSUKIMICHI – Moonlit Fantasy
Monica Flatley voices Chastille – she starred as Rouge in Metallic Rouge
Mike Smith is Kimaris – he last played General Bred in Sand Land: The Series
ADR Director and voice actor Jerry Jewell (Orange) is directing the An Archdemon’s Dilemma English dub cast.
An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride release information
While the first episode of the An Archdemon’s Dilemma English dub is premiering on Crunchyroll today — April 18th, 2024 — its original Japanese subbed version came out on April 5th.
It has already gone on to be a very popular show this season due to both its comedy elements and the way the relationship between protagonists Nephy and Zagan is developing.
The rom-com anime is based on the hit light novel series written by Fuminori Teshima and illustrated by Comta.
The series is directed by Hiroshi Ishiodori, with Aya Yoshinanaga in charge of series composition, and Mina Osawa designing the characters.
The plot of An Archdemon’s Dilemma goes like this.
Zagan is a powerful sorcerer, and a man who has lived alone in a huge castle for years, as he believes his life will be less complicated if he avoids women completely. He is also a man many in the nearby town fear.
After going to an underground auction, however, Zagan sees the last item being auctioned off — Nephelia, a silver-haired elf maiden who he immediately falls in love with.
After buying Nephelia (aka Nephy) with every coin he owns, he takes her back to his castle where they begin a strange co-habitation.
The problem for Zagan, however, comes in when he realizes, while he may be completely besotted with Nephy, he has absolutely no idea how to talk to her.
Meanwhile, Nephy has been thought of as “cursed” her whole life, so she struggles to communicate with Zagan as well.
The English-dubbed Episode 1 of An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride will be out later on today on Crunchyroll, along with Episode 4 of the English-subbed version.
