My Demon Ep 9 rating drops but soars on Netflix with international audience

Unlike its rival The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, which is consistently (and weirdly) dropping in the ratings, the Korean drama My Demon is bouncing around in the ratings, with some episodes rated high while others drop.

The K-drama’s latest episode is one of those that experienced a ratings drop, with last night’s The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, Episode 9 earning a 4.2 percent audience share.

That is a drop from its previous episode’s all-time high of 4.7 percent.

As the Korean drama has been bouncing around from its first episode, however, it could very well see a rating that is back to its all-time high when its next episode airs tonight.

My Demon performing superbly on Netflix

Meanwhile, international viewers are still raving about My Demon, with the drama still being rated a solid 8.2 out of 10 on IMDB, and an 8.7 out of 10 by users of My Drama List.

The Korean rom-com is doing even better on Netflix, however, where the streaming platform’s most recent data shows it is the #2 most watched show on the Netflix Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart.

The K-drama has also been viewed more than 33.6 million times on the platform so far.

My Demon stars Kim Yoo Jung, Song Kang, Lee Sang Yi, and Kim Hae Sook.

The next episode of the Korean drama will air tonight on SBS TV, with Netflix streaming it at the same time.
