The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract Ep 9 ratings continue to drop but international viewers still loyal

The ongoing romance drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, Episode 9 aired on MBC in South Korea last night to a drop in ratings.

In fact, the K-drama has been dropping in the ratings consistently since Episode 6 on December 9th.

That being said, with last night’s nationwide rating of 7.4 percent being a drop from its previous episode 8.0 percent, it looks like we may now heading back to the ratings the drama earned for its first five episodes (between 5.6 percent and 7.4 percent).

Not shabby ratings by any means, but not as high as its previous three had managed to earn.

The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract international viewers still loyal

Internationally, however, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract ratings from individual viewers have stayed consistently high throughout.

On My Drama List, the K-drama is still being rated with a high 8.6 out of 10, while IMDB viewers are still rating it a solid 8.4 out of 10.

On Viki, where the Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk-led drama is streaming for international viewers, the Korean drama is doing even better, being rated a massive 9.7 out of 10 and showing no signs of dropping.

In other words, it appears the loyalty of international viewers towards this excellent historical fantasy romance drama will not be dampened.

The next episode of The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract will air on MBC tonight, with Viki streaming it for international viewers.
