Namib Ep 6 grabs highest ratings yet as K-drama heads into 2nd half

While the new ENA drama Namib, with just six episodes left to run, isn’t likely to earn high ratings, it has seen a steady rise in its viewership since the K-drama premiered on December 24rd.

So much so that, last night, Namib, Episode 6 earned its highest rating yet — both from nationwide audiences and from viewers in Seoul.

According to the latest data via Nielsen Korea, Namib, Episode 6 garnered 2.37 percent of the nationwide viewership — a small increase from its previous episode’s rating high of 2.26 percent.

The Korean drama’s performance in Seoul was even better, increasing its viewership from Episode 5’s audience share of 2.50 percent to last night’s 2.76 percent.

Considering ENA did not do much promotion for Namib, either before it premiered or after, it is amazing then how well the Korean slice-of-life drama has done in continuing to grow its viewer numbers.

Namib stars the excellent main cast of Go Hyun Jung, Ryeoun, Yoon Sang Hyun, and Lee Jin Woo.

All six of its episodes are now available to stream via Viki, with subscribers on that platform currently rating the K-drama an extremely high 9.4 out of 10.
