The upcoming school-themed romance anime Hamidashi Creative has had a new trailer, key visual and a premiere date released via its official website.
The new Hamidashi Creative key visual features the anime’s five main girls — Ameri, Shio, Asumi, Kano and Hiyori — all of whom seem very happy with the anime’s premiere date, October 4th, 2024. (see below)
The anime itself is based on the incredibly popular visual novel of the same name from Chinese game developer Madosoft, and was successfully crowd-funded to the tune of 113 million yen (approximately US$778,000) back in August, 2023.
So successful and popular is the visual novel, the crowd-funder hit its goal in under 10 minutes. The visual novel, which is “overwhelmingly positively” rated, is available on Steam.
Sadly, however, the Hamidashi Creative anime will only comprise 12 episodes of just over 2 minutes in length.

The cast and staff of Hamidashi Creative
The same cast who voice the main characters in the game will reprise their roles in the Hamidashi Creative anime.
They are:
- Megumi Toda (Alice in Restaurant to Another World 2) who voices Hiyori Izumi
- Hotori Asami who plays Kano Tokiwa
- Yukino Tsumugi who is voicing Asumi Nishiki
- Rie Okamoto is playing Ameri Ryuukan
- Miki Horiba voices Shio Kamakura
As for the anime’s staff, Shigeru Fukase (The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made Season 2) is directing the anime, under chief director Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Rail Romanesque).
Kouichi Arisu is in charge of scripts and series composition, while Keiya Nakano (The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy) is both designing the characters and chief animation director.
Hayabusa Film is animating the production.
The anime’s website describes the Hamidashi Creative plot like this:
Protagonist ‘Tomohiro Izumi’, who is a self-confessed ‘shady’ person, draws the winning lottery ticket in a hastily held raffle to decide the student council president.
Reluctantly accepting the position of president, Tomohiro begins to gather his friends, but none of the nominees for the board of directors are at the school! He brings in his classmate Hanano Tokiwa, junior Asumi Nishiki and his younger sister Kiai Izumi, while the former president Shizou Kamakura and Tomohiro’s classmate Tenri Ryuukan, who had been out of touch, even show up.
The anime brings you the story of the five students in the absence of the main character, which you couldn’t see in the game!
The girls, who have broken free of their truancy, start an adolescent daily comedy that goes beyond the framework of the student council!
