Parasyte: The Grey still #1 Non-English TV Show and #5 on Netflix Top 10 worldwide

The latest data is out from Netflix and, as we all probably expected, the Korean horror series Parasyte: The Grey is #1 on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Showschart for the second week.

To keep that spot, according to the streaming platform’s latest numbers, Parasyte: The Grey was viewed 9.8 million times during the week of April 8th through April 14th, 2024.

It was also watched for more than 49 million hours.

Those viewing numbers easily kept the Korean horror series in first place, well ahead of Crooks: Season 1 at #2, with its 35.4 million hours viewed.

Those high viewing numbers also allowed Parasyte: The Grey to easily beat the only other Korean drama on the list — Queen of Tears — which ended up in a still commendable third place during its sixth week on the chart.

Parasyte: The Grey also high on Netflix Top 10 worldwide

The Korean drama is also performing brilliantly well worldwide.

Regardless of whether it is a non-English language show, or just a TV show people are enjoying.

According to the latest data from Flix Patrol, Parasyte: The Grey is currently in the #5 spot on the Top 10 Netflix TV Shows chart worldwide today, beating out shows like Crooks, The 3 Body Problem, Heartbreak High, Queen of Tears (#9) and The Gentlemen.

With how remarkable the reviews have been for Parasyte: The Grey since it premiered on April 5th, it is also likely the Korean drama could easily remain high up on both charts again next week.

Parasyte: The Grey stars the stellar cast of Jeon So Nee, Koo Kyo Hwan, and Lee Jung Hyun.

If you haven’t yet watched it, and you should as it is a phenomenally good example of the genre, all six episodes of the first season of the Korean mini-series are now streaming on Netflix.
