The new JTBC drama Romance in the House premiered in South Korea last night to a very good start.
According to the data from Nielsen Korea, Romance in the House, Episode 1 earned 4.78 percent nationwide.
It earned a very strong 4.49 percent from audiences in Seoul.
That audience share in both regions also placed the K-drama in the #1 spot in its time slot.
Overall, Romance in the House had the highest rated first episode of any Saturday/Sunday drama on JTBC in 2024.
What is Romance in the House?
Romance in the House stars Ji Jin Hee, Kim Jee Soo, Son Na Eun and Choi Min Ho.
The Korean drama tells the story of Byun Moo Jin (played by Ji Jin Hee) and Geum Ae Yeon (Kim Jee Soo) who were once married and had two children.
Moo Jin spent much of their marriage attempting various business ventures that failed, and so the couple finally divorced after his wife couldn’t take it anymore.
Now, years later, Moo Jin’s businesses have been successful and he is now a billionaire.
A billionaire who wants his wife and family back.
Romance in the House airs on JTBC every Saturday and Sunday at 22:30 (KST), with Netflix streaming the K-drama worldwide.
