While Serendipity’s Embrace, Episode 8 did not end the series on high ratings, it did manage to grab slightly higher ratings than it earned for its previous episode.

That means Serendipity’s Embrace, Episode 8 earned 3.068 percent of the nationwide audience share for its series finale, which is slightly higher than the 2.98 percent it earned for Episode 7.

It also meant the K-drama climbed over the 3.0 percent mark for only the third time in its 8-episode run.

In Seoul, however, the tvN drama saw its viewership fall from Episode 7’s 3.53 percent to last night’s 3.31 percent.

International ratings for Serendipity’s Embrace after series finale airs

After Episode 8 aired, the international ratings for the K-drama on My Drama List are a solid 8.2 out of 10, although they did drop from 8.3 after Episode 8 aired.

Meanwhile, over 4,700 people on Viki are rating Serendipity’s Embrace an average of a very high 9.6 out of 10 now that its run has come to an end.

International audiences on My Drama List blamed their low ratings on the “predictability” of the plot, and the usual “love triangle” that, at this point in time, most viewers just find annoying.

The 8-episode Serendipity’s Embrace aired on tvN from July 22nd, 2024 to August 13th.

The drama stars Kim So Hyun, Chae Jong Hyeop, Yoon Ji On, and Kim Da Som.
