Sparkly Key Animation Studio details

Chinese animation studio Sparkly Key Animation Studio (aka Hangzhou Xuanji Technology Co., Ltd.) was founded in late 2005 and, since then, has become one of the studios creating some of the most-watched donghua series and films.



Both in China and internationally.

Most of those series are also extremely long-running, as Sparkly Key prefers concentrating on long-term projects than a one-off donghua.

Donghua fans around the world will immediately recognize two such Sparkly Key Animation shows — the Tunshi Xingkong (Swallowed Star) franchise and Douluo Dalu, (aka Soul Land).

The Chinese studio also creates animated TV shows specifically for children.

  • Wu Geng Ji (The Legend and the Hero) — (2016-2023)
  • Tian Yu (Revelation)— (2017-2018)

  • Tianbao Fuyao Lu (Legend of Exorcism) — (2020-2021 with a new sequel announced)
  • Tunshi Xingkong (Swallowed Star) — (2021-present)
  • Tunshi Xingkong Movie: Xueluo Dalu (Swallowed Star: Blood Luo Continent) film — releasing December, 2024
  • Shixiong A Shixiong (My Senior Brother is Too Steady)— (2023-present)
  • Mushen Ji (Tales of Herding Gods) — (premiered Oct 27th, 2024)
