The series finale of the K-drama Strong Girl Nam Soon aired on JTBC in South Korea last night to a huge ratings jump that culminated in an all-time high for the popular action adventure comedy.
According to Nielsen Korea, Strong Girl Nam Soon, Episode 16 earned a rating of 10.42 percent nationwide, which was a big increase from its previous episode‘s 8.98 percent as well as the first time the K-drama hit double digits.
In Seoul, Strong Girl Nam Soon, Episode 16 performed even better earning an 11.10 percent rating, which is a big jump from Episode 15’s rating of 9.60 percent.
Both those ratings gave the Lee Yoo Mi-led K-drama not only its highest ever rating, but also helped it earn a very solid average of 7.93 percent and 8.52 percent per episode of its 16 episode run.
Strong Girl Nam Soon stars Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seong Wu, and Byeon Woo Seok.
It is the second drama in the Strong Girl franchise.
According to a recent comment by a JTBC spokesperson, the franchise has been so well-received, there is already a third drama in the early planning stages.
Meanwhile you can now watch the entire 16 episode Strong Girl Nam Soon series on Netfix, where it has been one of the Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV series on the platform since it premiered on October 7th.
