The incredibly successful Korean drama Strong Girl Nam Soon aired its penultimate episode in South Korea last night to solid ratings.

According to the numbers from Nielsen Korea, Strong Girl Nam Soon, Episode 15 earned 8.98 percent of the audience share nationwide, which is the same rating it earned for Episode 14.

In Seoul, the JTBC comedy action drama grabbed an even higher 9.60 percent — a slight increase from Episode 14’s rating of 9.55 percent last Sunday.

Both ratings placed the K-drama in the #1 most-watched spot on cable TV for Saturday.

Strong Girl Nam Soon‘s success on Netflix

The Lee Yoo Mi-led drama is also seeing similar success on Netflix, where it is currently available worldwide.

Earlier in the week, the world’s biggest streaming platform reported the Korean drama has now been on their Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart for all seven weeks it has been streaming.

With the latest watch data due out from Netflix on Tuesday, Strong Girl Nam Soon will likely be on the chart for an 8th week then as well.

Strong Girl Nam Soon stars the utterly superb cast of Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seong Wu, and Byeon Woo Seok

The Korean drama premiered on October 7th, and ends its 16-episode run on JTBC later on tonight, with Netflix streaming it soon after.

JTBC has already announced a third season of the comedy drama franchise is now in the planning stages.
