The Apothecary Diaries hydrangea seasonal visual has Maomao salivating over a frog as Jinshi looks on

The final The Apothecary Diaries ‘seasonal visual’ has dropped, and this time it features Jinshi and Maomao admiring the hydrangeas.

Although, from the look on Maomao’s face as she discovers a snail perched on one of the plant’s leaves, she has probably already figured out some poison she can make with it.

Meanwhile, Jinshi lwatches her curiously.

The Jinshi and Maomao with the Hydrangea visual follows on from last month’s visual featuring Xiaolan, Maomao and Shisui eating dango.

It is the last of a year-long ‘seasonal visuals’ project, with The Apothecary Diaries releasing a new visual on the 22nd of each month for the last year — the 22nd of February being National Cat Day in Japan (Maomao — get it!).

Meanwhile, you may have noticed today’s expected episode of The Apothecary Diaries, Season 2 has not arrived.

That is because the anime’s penultimate episode has been postponed from this week until next — Sunday, June 27th — with the final episode of Season 2 of The Apothecary Diaries, Episode 24, now airing on July 4th.

The delay was announced on the anime’s X account several weeks ago.
