The Fiery Priest 2 trailer makes our favorite trio look as crazy as ever and I’m loving it

One of my absolute favorite Korean dramas of all time is The Fiery Priest.

One of the funniest, craziest and quirkiest Korean shows ever created, and populated by one of the best trio of actors — Kim Nam Gil, Kim Sung Kyun and Lee Ha Nee (aka Honey Lee).

With The Fiery Priest 2 on its way next month, I had already anticipated another season of full-on hilarious lunacy, and was desperately looking forward to it, but the just released The Fiery Priest 2 trailer now proves that’s exactly what we will get.

As, no, neither priest Kim Hae Il, nor detective Goo Dae Young nor prosecutor Park Kyung Sun have changed one little bit. If anything, from the few scenes in the trailer, they may just be worse. (Glory, Glory, Hallelujah!).

The Fiery Priest 2 trailer kicks off with Kim Nam Gil as Priest Kim Hae Il saying “The Devil is nowhere near as dark as he appears in pictures”.

We then see a montage of the same craziness perpetrated against the villains from our three main characters as we saw in season 1, culminating in Kim Hae Il declaring “We must let all the demons know the truth that God exists somewhere”.

The Korean drama itself will be back on SBS in South Korea starting on November 8th for 12 episodes (8 fewer than the first season), with Disney+ and Hulu streaming it outside the country.

In the new season, Kim Hae Il, Park Kyung Sun, and Gu Dae Young head to Busan in pursuit of a major drug trafficking operation.

And no, it will make no difference that they are operating in another law enforcement district’s jurisdiction, as they will be just as unhinged as always. Yay!

Watch the new The Fiery Priest 2 trailer down below, and then tell me that doesn’t look like the funniest show you’ve watched in eons.

And, if you haven’t yet watched the first season but think this looks like your thing, you have 21 days 3 hours and some odd minutes before Season 2 kicks off to do that now via Viki or KOCOWA.
