The South Korean action thriller The First Responders 2 premiered last night on SBS TV to high ratings.
No surprise really though, as the first season started out with high ratings in November, 2022 and continued to grab even higher ones as the season went on.
The same viewers who loved the first season then were eagerly back for Season 2 last night.
According to Nielsen Korea, The First Responders 2, Episode 1 earned 7.1 percent of the audience share nationwide.
In Seoul, the SBS drama garnered an even higher 7.5 percent for its first episode.
Where does The First Responders 2 air?
The First Responders 2 (aka 소방서 옆 경찰서 in Korea) stars Kim Rae Won, Son Ho Jun, and Gong Seung Yeo, and will air every Friday and Saturday at 22:00 (KST) on SBS TV.
It follows the joint operations of a police force and a fire department who collaborate on various crimes.
Outside South Korea, the drama streams on Disney+ for international viewers in selected regions.
The next episode of the Korean drama will air on SBS later on tonight in Korea, and then every Friday and Saturday at 22:00 (KST) until September 9th, 2023.
