The Secret Romantic Guesthouse E05 viewership remains steady – bodes well for rest of 18-episode drama

The South Korean drama The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, Episode 5 still held the attention of its viewership last night, with the drama keeping the same number of viewers as its previous two episodes in Korea nationwide.

In Seoul, the mystery period drama fared even better as the number of viewers in the capital city increased by .3 percent over the fourth episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, Episode 5 viewership nationwide maintained its 3.7 percent share of the market in its time slot, while in Seoul the SBS drama grabbed 4.1 percent of the audience.

With the audience for the Korean drama remaining very steady since Episode 2, that does bode well then for it being able to maintain its audience throughout the drama’s 18 episode run.

The Secret Romantic Guesthouse stars Shin Ye Eun, Ryeoun, Jung Gun Joo, and Kang Hoon.

The period drama tells the story of Yoon Dan Oh, a formerly wealthy young woman who now runs the Ihwawon Inn.

An inn where most of the guests are scholars, and where they all band together with Dan Oh to solve the mystery of why a man called Lee Seol disappeared over 13 years before.

The drama airs on SBS TV in South Korea every Monday and Tuesday evening at 22:00 (KST) through May 16th.

Viewers outside the country are able to stream it via Viki in some regions, with episodes appearing on both streaming services soon after they premiere in Korea.
