The new Korean fantasy romance drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, Episode 2 aired on MBC in South Korea last night to even stronger ratings that its first episode on Friday.
According to Nielsen Korea, the second episode of the MBC drama saw a 5.9 percent nationwide rating on Saturday night, which is a slight rise from Episode 1’s 5.5 percent audience share.
In Seoul The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, Episode 2 also saw an increase in ratings, jumping from Episode 1’s rating of 5.3 percent to Episode 2’s rating of 5.8 percent.
Considering Korean drama’s often see a ratings drop with their second episode release, things look very good for the MBC drama going forward.
The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract performs well on IMDB and Viki
Korean drama viewers using IMDB are also giving The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract high ratings — especially for that website.
While the ratings are from only a handful of people so far (28), the K-drama is still being rated 9.7 out of 10.
The Korean fantasy romance drama is also performing very well on Viki, where it is streaming for international viewers, as it is also currently rated a 9.7 out of 10 (191 viewers).
Even viewers using My Drama List (a site where viewers notoriously rate dramas lower than they deserve) are rating The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract a strong 8.3 out of 10 (478 viewers)
The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract stars Lee Se Young, Bae In Hyuk, Joo Hyun Young, Yoo Seon Ho, and Jo Bok Rae.
Its next episode will air on MBC on Friday, December 1st, followed by an uploading to Viki.
