To Be Hero X PVs for Lucky Youth, A Hu and Loli chapters add depth to their stories

Bilibili has released three new To Be Hero X PVs today.

This time for the Lucky Youth, A Hu and Loli chapters of the upcoming super power action donghua, which is due to premiere on April 25th. (Watch below)

Each of the three PVs gives us a little more of an in-depth look into each of the previously-introduced characters, and adds some interesting details to their backstories.

They also join a whole slew of other teaser videos and visuals that have been released over the last couple of months — including the creditless opening animation that includes the very cool OP.

Yep, Bilibili, BeDream and Aniplex are certainly making sure every donghua/anime fan on the planet is aware of To Be Hero X. Yay!

To Be Hero X details

The latest season in the To Be Hero franchise is a collaboration between the previously mentioned Bilibili, BeDream and Aniplex, with several other Chinese companies also involved (see the behind-the-scenes video profiling the companies involved).

To Be Hero X is the first release since To Be Heroine ended in July, 2018 so, of course, is highly-anticipated by excited donghua fans worldwide.

Bilibili itself describes what we can expect when To Be Hero X (aka Tu Bian Yingxiong X) hits with this plot synopsis:

This is a world where heroes are created by people’s trust, and the hero who gains the most trust is known as X. In this world, people’s trust can be quantified through data, and these values are reflected on everyone’s wrist.

As long as one gains enough trust points, an ordinary person can possess superpowers and become a superhero who saves the world. However, the constantly changing trust values make the path of a hero full of uncertainties…
