Who voices Riko in Made in Abyss? Actress who plays Gabriel in Gabriel DropOut

The good-natured and adorable Riko in Made in Abyss is one of the reasons the anime became one of my favorites of the last few years.

After all, how can you not love a girl who, after her mother disappears while exploring the Abyss, not only wants to become a cave raider herself but is desperate to attain the rank of white whistle so she can follow her mother to the bottom of the Abyss.

Especially as she seems to have so many things working against her.

What makes Riko even more likeable, however, is the way she is portrayed by the Japanese voice actress who plays her.

A performance that is beautifully done as, while Riko may appear child-like, she is also single-minded and stubborn — and that has to be portrayed by her voice actress as well.

So, who voices Riko in Made in Abyss, and how many other of your favorite anime characters has she voiced?

Who voices Riko in Made in Abyss?

The voice actress who voices Riko in Made in Abyss is Miyu Tomita (aka 富田 美憂). An actress who hasn’t even been voice acting for a decade, yet has already voiced some of the industry’s most iconic characters.

Characters like Gabriel White Tenma in Gabriel DropOut, Emma Brightness in The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter and Otako in Please Tell Me! Galko-chan.

Miyu Tomita was born on November 15th, 1999 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, and was interested in being a voice actress from being in elementary school and falling in love with the anime Vampire Knight.

She debuted as a voice actress in 2015, at the age of just 16 in a career that took off quickly when she earned the role of Otako in Please Tell Me! Galko-chan just one year later.

Since then, Miyu Tomita has starred in a slew of main and supporting roles in some of the most popular anime of the last decade.

She is signed with the Japanese talent agency Amuse.
