At only 18, Lorde has to be one of the most ‘put together’ teenagers in the world. She’s a gifted songwriter, a talented singer, beautiful and, of course, successful. And yet she’s also emotionally mature, and down-to-earth and matter-of-fact.
On the red carpet of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 premiere this week, Lorde showed just how matter-of-fact, when asked by an ODE interviewer about her American success. If she expected it to ‘get bigger’.
Lorde’s response? “Oh it can definitely get bigger. Just you wait”.
She was at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 premiere, of course, as she curated the music for the movie, including Lorde’s own single ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’.
