Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga theme song gets music video
Japanese rock band UVERworld has released the official music video for their latest single ‘Eye’s Sentry’.
The song will be familiar already to millions of anime fans, as it is the theme song for the currently airing anime series Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga (aka Ao no Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati-hen), and an absolutely banging song it has turned out to be.
After all, along with TAKUYA∞’s always powerful vocals, and Seika’s wonderful saxophone solo, ‘Eye’s Sentry‘ itself features a very catchy melody and touching lyrics.
Lyrics that tell the person listening you should always search for and be true to your real self, as your authentic self will never let you down.
But, if you find yourself in a situation where changing yourself would make you and the person you love happy, then that’s alright too:
Even if it means locking away your true self
For the sake of someone you wish to be loved by
If it means that much
Then it’s okay to change(‘Eye’s Sentry‘ lyrics via Anime Song Lyrics)
Something that is also the perfect theme for the third season of the Blue Exorcist anime series, as just about every main character in it has, at some point now or in the past, changed themselves or what they planned to do for someone they cared about.
UVERworld’s ‘Eye Sentry‘ music video
The just released official music video for the track (watch below) is just as powerful as the song and its lyrics, with the simplicity of the video design and production adding to its power.
A video that simply has the members of UVERworld performing the track on a circular stage, but with a high energy that proves the authenticity of their feelings.
