I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince anime gets trailer, visual, cast and more

For anime fans anticipating new information about the upcoming I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability anime series (yep, take a breath before you continue), here is what has been released today — a new trailer, key visual, names of three more cast members, and details about both the opening and ending theme songs.

Now you can’t say they don’t want you to get excited, eh?

With so much new information about the anime adaptation of the popular isekai fantasy light novels written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru then, here is what just came out broken down into less-breathless bites.

New Key Visual and Trailer

The latest I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince key visual has 10-year-old (well sort of) protagonist Lloyd de Saloum front and center, with all the key characters congregated around him. (see above)

The art style, by the way, is gorgeous, which bodes well for the anime itself.

As for the new I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince trailer (yep, gonna have to shorten this one), it offers glimpses into the animation style, cute character designs, and hints at what looks like an incredibly fun plot.

Especially if you love stories about an ordinary pleb who dies a horrible death only to be reincarnated as a soon-to-be overpowered hero who doesn’t give a damn what anyone else thinks about him.

The trailer also introduces the voice actors for all the key characters and, let me just say, most of them sound hilarious, and perfect for their parts.

Watch it below.

  • Sylpha played by Lynn (Ria in Farming Life in Another World)

All three are very experienced voice actors who know exactly what to bring to a role to make viewers love the characters they play.

Kodansha, by the way, describes the manga’s plot like this:

Prince Lloyd wasn’t always a prince…in fact, his previous life is one he remembers perfectly: he was a sorcerer, of sorts. So when he was forced to reincarnate, he decided to continue his studies, prince of the realm or no!

But his new life has its own sets of challenges…including being a 10-year-old! What’s the 7th prince/sorcerer to do?!

Anime Release Information:

  • Broadcast: Scheduled to begin in April 2024 in Japan.

That’s the latest news we have for the upcoming I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability anime adaptation.

All I can say is it has definitely peaked my interest even more, as the art style and the voice actors alone make this one a must watch.
