Love Next Door climbs back into Netflix Top 3 as Kdrama ends its run

Love Next Door ends run in Top 3 on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart

After dropping to #4 on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart a couple of weeks ago and staying there, Korean rom-com drama Love Next Door is back in the Top 3 now that its run has ended.

According to the Netflix Tudum website, Love Next Door moved up from the #4 spot to last week’s #3 for the period September 30th to October 6th, 20204 as its final two episodes aired last weekend.

The Korean drama made it into the Top 3 again last week due to having been watched for a total of 47.3 million hours viewed worldwide.

Love Next Door was also in the Top 10 in 37 countries, including much of Asia, Morocco and Nigeria in Africa, and countries like Bolivia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Chile and Venezuela in the Americas.

Sadly, most Netflix viewers in the United States and Canada still don’t seem to have caught on to the Kdrama craze. Funny that!

Eight weeks in the Netflix Top 10

The drama first made it onto the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart during the week of August 12th to August 18th, when it hit #5 right after its first two episodes premiered on the streaming platform.

It then remained on the Top 10 for its entire eight week run.

Love Next Door stars Jung Hae In, Jung So Min and Kim Ji Eun. The drama aired on tvN in South Korea from August 17th to October 6th, 2024.

You can watch all 16 episodes of the Korean drama series on Netflix now.
